An Artful Affair: Exposing Trafficking Through Collective Creation
The Boston Initiative to Advance Human Rights (BITAHR) is looking for artwork for “An Artful Affair: Exposing Trafficking Through Collective Creation,” the opening night and fundraiser for our 3-day film forum addressing sex trafficking as a human rights violation. The Artful Affair will take place on the evening of Thursday, February 2, 2012, from 6-8pm at Villa Victoria Center for the Arts, in the vibrant South End neighborhood of Boston, MA.
We are looking for wall-hung artworks that are a MINIMUM of 2 feet, or a grouping of three or more related works that are related to social justice. Art will be auctioned off at fundraiser and artists will receive 50% of the proceeds of their work.

Call for Postcard Art
Postcards for Humanity
The Boston Initiative to Advance Human Rights (BITAHR) and CultureID invite artists to donate a 4″x6″ original artwork for the Postcards for Humanity exhibition and benefit sale. Painting, drawing, photography, printmaking and mixed media are all welcome.
Postcards for Humanity is an exhibition and benefit sale of original postcard-sized works of art by established and emerging artists. All works will be exhibited on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Villa Victoria Center for the Arts, a large gallery in the vibrant South End neighborhood of Boston, in conjunction with the BITAHR 2012 Film Forum: Fighting Trafficking Through Film to be held at the Modern Theater, also in Boston. On February 3rd the postcard art will be displayed at the Modern Theater during the 3-day film forum. Additionally, cultureID will host an online gallery of all work on its site.
